Dr. Jami Heyting

Dr. Heyting received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Certificate in Natural Childbirth from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon.  In addition to primary care, the focus of her clinical education included rotations in pediatrics, women’s health, homeopathy, physical medicine, minor surgery and dermatology, and transgender health.  Dr. Heyting also completed a year-long rotation in collaborative mental health care at the Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic, an interdisciplinary clinic administered jointly by NUNM and Pacific University.   She also has plans to complete additional clinical training to attain licensure as a Naturopathic Midwife in the next few years.

Dr. Heyting is a native Oregonian, having lived most of her life in the Willamette Valley.  She graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Psychology and worked with psychiatric populations at the state hospital and OHSU for 6 years before beginning medical school.  In her personal time, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, camping, and spending time with her husband and four children.
